At Ad Astra, we provide tailored support that addresses each child's unique needs:
Emotional Support
Staff members in our homes are highly trained to be able to meet the children’s emotional needs & provide emotional support to help children to manage any traumatic past experiences and build positive relationships.
Education
We aim to work with local education providers to access appropriate education services to ensure vulnerable children are supported in their academic endeavours and equal opportunities are available for learning and development.
Health & Wellbeing
We will support each child to ensure they receive the medical care they require, including regular check-ups and access to necessary healthcare services.
Preparation for Later Life
We help children to develop essential life skills such as cooking, personal hygiene, money management and decision-making, to prepare them for independent living.
Therapeutic Interventions
Some of the children we look after have had early traumatic experiences. We support children who have experienced trauma, or have specific emotional or behavioural needs, to ensure they receive therapeutic interventions, counselling, and other specialist support.
